Despite sales of the RX400h rapidly climbing, Lexus is busy readying the next-gen SUV. But the new RX will only be available as a hybrid because sales of the petrol-only models are nearly non-existent. And while the looks of the new model will be a mere evolution of today's car, expect a fifth-generation hybrid powertrain to best the current model's 34.9mpg and 192g/km figures.
